Founder & Share Holder

David R. Bacon

David Bacon founded Two Plus Four in 1977. His strong leadership has guided the Company from its inception. Dave has a personal real estate portfolio of over 60 projects that consist of 2500 units. This has provided us with extensive management experience and contributed heavily to the current success that the company enjoys. His broad real estate and financing background has lead the way for over twenty years and is responsible for the strong reputation for which the company is known.

Prior to 1977 Dave owned and operated a mechanical contracting company employing over 150 employees and contracted for schools, universities, libraries and a major beer brewery.

He is a graduate of Cornell University, School of Engineering and holds Professional Engineering License in the State of New York.

Susan Bacon Kimmel

Susan Kimmel has been with Two Plus Four companies for seven years. She has risen from Regional Manager to Vice - President and now President of both Two Plus Four Management and Two Plus Four Construction. Sue's responsibilities include the financial planning and goal setting for the corporation. Under her leadership, Two Plus Four has added 11 properties and 270 additional units of housing. Sue works closely with both the Development and Management teams to make sure the transition is a smooth one in which all regulations are met. Her continued involvement in new development ensures the growth of the Two Plus Four Portfolio.

In addition to her corporate leadership, Sue also sits on the Board of Directors for the National Council for Affordable Rural Housing (CARH). As a member of this board, Sue is involved with lobbying at the federal level for housing funding and program changes. Her active involvement has helped to nurture sound relationships with USDA Rural Development at both the state and federal levels. In addition, as a member of New York State Affordable Housing Association, Sue also lobbies at the state level and enjoys great working relationships with the Division of Housing and Community Renewal.

Sue is a C5P Tax Credit Specialist and holds both S.T.A.R and Fair Housing certificates. In addition, she is also a Certified Occupancy Specialist. Sue is a graduate of Clarkson University, School of Engineering and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
